Hi, I'm Tara Hill! I'm a mom, wife, educator, and creative spirit who believes that a little creativity can make everyday moments more meaningful, memorable, and fun.

With a Ph.D. in education, years of experience as a classroom teacher and university professor, and three young children of my own, I've spent much of my life exploring how people learn, grow, and connect. Along the way, I've also discovered how much I love creating things that bring people joy, whether that's a hand-painted banner for a special celebration or a simple activity that sparks a child's curiosity.

At Queen of the Hill Designs, I create custom hand-painted banners, coloring banners, and other personalized designs that help make life's special moments even more memorable. From birthday parties and baby showers to graduations, school events, and everything in between, I love bringing your ideas to life through thoughtful, one-of-a-kind creations.

Dr. Hill's Learning Corner

As a literacy educator, former classroom teacher, university professor, and mom, I'm passionate about helping children learn and thrive—and helping the adults in their lives feel confident supporting them.

Through Dr. Hill's Learning Corner, I share research-informed strategies, engaging activities, picture book recommendations, and practical resources for parents and teachers. My goal is to make learning accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable while helping families recognize the incredible learning opportunities hiding in everyday moments.

Whether we're building early literacy skills, exploring math through play, or finding the perfect picture book to help a child navigate a big feeling, I believe learning should inspire curiosity, connection, and joy.
